Unfortunately, there is no idealogical diversity in the United States. Instead, just an equal proportion of two different ideological groups, which during elections, become more clearly and aggressively divided.
When the creepy creep Al Gore (for his own ego trip and massive absurd profit) politicized global warming and ?environmental consciousness," he caused more harm to the environment than anyone in recent history. His catchy phrases and film caused a giant ideological divide, which actually set back the environmental movement.
Today's cartoonish child star Greta Thunberg has a similar effect, especially on very young people who bought into her one act play where the world is divided into only two groups, us and them.
And while the westerners bicker amongst themselves, China is causing more extinction, more pollution and more pandemics than the rest of the world put together. In some cases, more than the rest of the world put together throughout history.
Who cares who the depressive ugly Swedish teen Greta Thunberg endorses for US president? Fuck her and fuck Sweden.
As a point of interest, the USA has lowered its environmental impact since leaving the Paris Climate Accord more than any country still remaining. The beautiful deserts of the American Southwest have been polluted and disrupted by illegal aliens to a degree that is heartbreaking. Neither the earth's sunlight nor wind are very energy dense, and neither should be viewed as a serious future energy source. Playing them out as such is both a waste of time and harmful to the environment.
There is a difference between being a radical environmental activist and living a radical life to preserve the environment.
